We’re accepting new projects for the upcoming season.

We’re not just here to publish your book—we’re here to help you understand the process and own your author journey.

Our process is built on the RLA Service Press Model™, guided by the RLA Author-First Framework™, and supported through the RLA Author Empowerment System™—so you always know what’s happening, what comes next, and why.

How our Service Press Model works

The RLA Service Press Model™ is built on servant leadership: we lead by serving authors. It’s not the industry default—it’s a transparent, flat-fee, service-first alternative to traditional and royalty-share approaches. You hire us for professional publishing support, and we help you publish through the platform that fits your goals (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or other distributors). You keep full rights and 100% of your royalties—we don’t take a percentage of your book sales. (Platform printing/distribution fees may apply.)

How our Author-First Framework works

The RLA Author-First Framework™ is how we guide your project from draft to launch—within our Service Press Model™. We begin by clarifying your goals, timeline, audience, and budget, then translate them into a simple, step-by-step plan with clear milestones. You’ll always know what’s happening, what comes next, and why—because we believe publishing support should feel empowering, not confusing.

This framework is built on clarity, honesty, and collaboration. We give you professional recommendations based on what your book needs and what your goals require—not on upsells or royalty-based incentives. You keep full ownership and decision-making power, and we act as your guide, advocate, and quality partner all the way to launch.

  • Goal-first planning
  • Clear milestones and deliverables (so you always know what’s next)
  • Decision points mapped in advance (ISBN, distribution, formats, launch timing)
  • Transparent scope and pricing (no surprise add-ons)
  • Launch readiness (metadata, retail pages, print/ebook setup, and marketing basics)

How our Author Empowerment System works

The RLA Author Empowerment System™ is the support that makes publishing feel doable—especially if you’re new. Many authors don’t lack talent; they lack clarity and trustworthy guidance. Publishing is full of unfamiliar decisions (editing levels, ISBNs, trim sizes, pricing, distribution, keywords, categories), and the internet is packed with conflicting advice. On top of that, some service providers overcharge for basic deliverables or offer minimal support once you’ve paid, leaving authors overwhelmed, second-guessing every step, and afraid of wasting money.

Our system replaces confusion with a clear path: step-by-step guidance, coaching when you need it, and practical resources so you understand your book, your options, and your next move. Whether you’re submitting a rough draft or a nearly finished manuscript, we help you strengthen the work and publish with confidence—without surprise fees, pressure tactics, or being left on your own. You stay in control; we make the process clear, supported, and launch-ready.
