I’ve been there—
Let me show you the way
I started coaching authors because I’ve been where you are—frustrated by traditional publishing gatekeepers and craving more control over my story, royalties, and creative direction.
Before I ever coached a single author, I spent 10 years in EdTech creating corporate training and 18 years editing books, magazines, and scripts—learning how to turn big ideas into clear, finished work that connects with a real audience. My writing has been featured in San Diego Family Magazine, Seasons of Del Mar Magazine, and on corporate training and eLearning platforms. I’m the author of both fiction and nonfiction books.
After successfully publishing and marketing my own books, I realized how many writers felt overwhelmed by self-publishing and unsure where to start.
Today, I support the entire journey for authors just like you! I provide book coaching for fiction and nonfiction writers across the entire publishing pipeline: idea development, genre positioning, outline development, drafting, structural editing, line-level revision, proofreading prep, book formatting, cover design direction, Amazon KDP publishing, metadata and keywords, launch planning, and book marketing—so you always know what to do next, and why it matters.

What Makes RLA Publishing Different?
At RLA Publishing, our approach is built to keep authors informed, supported, and in control—without confusion or gatekeeping.
The RLA Service Press Model™
This is our publishing approach: you hire us for professional publishing services with transparent, flat-fee options. We help you publish through the platform that fits your goals (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, or other distributors). You keep full rights and 100% of your royalties—we don’t take a percentage of your book sales. (Platform printing / distribution fees may apply.)
The RLA Author-First Framework™
This is how we guide your project from draft to launch. We start with your goals, timeline, and audience, then build a clear plan with milestones—so you always know what’s happening, what comes next, and why. It’s built on clarity, honesty, and collaboration, with recommendations that fit your needs (not upsells you don’t).
The RLA Author Empowerment System™
This is the support that makes the process feel doable—especially if you’re new. You’ll get step-by-step guidance, coaching where needed, and practical resources so you understand your book, your options, and your next move. Whether you’re submitting a rough draft or a nearly finished manuscript, we help you strengthen the work and publish with confidence.
